Since 2001 she has worked as an IP Attorney at Buzzi, Notaro & Antonielli d’Oulx in Turin, and since February 2010 she has also held the position of External Relations Officer of MARQUES The European Association of Trade Mark Owners.

Work experience
For over thirty years she has been assisting Italian and foreign clients in handling issues relating to all matters within her expertise, in litigation and dispute resolution activities by way of settlement, and in first and second instance administrative proceedings before national, regional and international industrial property offices. She has also gained particular experience as a speaker at conferences and congresses, and she also provides consultancy and training activities on a wide range of topics relating to intellectual property.
Professional activity
In her professional activity as an Industrial Property Attorney, Alessandra ROMEO has specialized in the drafting of opinions and assessments, and in general, in advising clients in matters of trademarks, geographical indications, designs, copyright, domain names and social media, and with regard to brand protection strategies in the broad sense.
She has also acquired many years of experience in the specific management of administrative litigation, resolution of disputes out of court and ADR procedures, representing small and medium-sized enterprises as well as multinationals, in negotiations, and in the drafting of global settlement agreements.
After completing the required national basic training, and passing the examination in January 2022, she obtained the title of Mediator in Civil and Commercial Disputes, required for entry in the Register of Mediators before the Ministry of Justice, for the performance of the relevant function.
