Mauro Marchitelli is an Italian and European patent attorney admitted to practice before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office and the EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office. He is also admitted to practice before the Unified Patent Court as a European Patent Litigator and is a Court-Appointed Technical Expert at the Court of Turin. Mauro graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino (Technical University of Turin).

After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino (Technical University of Turin) in 1986, Mauro Marchitelli began his activity in the field of industrial property in 1988, gaining extensive experience in all the main areas of intellectual property.
Over the course of his career, he has assisted numerous Italian and foreign companies in the filing and prosecution of patent applications in Italy, before the European Patent Office and in the main foreign countries, in particular the United States, China and Japan.
He has also gained significant experience in patent litigation, handling multiple patent litigation cases both as a party technical expert and as a Court-Appointed Technical Expert.
His activity comprises advising clients in industrial property matters, with particular reference to drafting, filing and prosecution of Italian, European and international patent applications, as well as the strategic management of patent portfolios.
He assists Italian and foreign clients in defining strategies for the protection of inventions, in proceedings before national and international industrial property offices and in technical expertise in patent matters.
He is also a speaker and lecturer on various topics relating to intellectual property.
